Each potato has it’s own packing

From the cooled bunkers the potatoes are transported to the packing department where all packing machines are located. Also here the drop heights are minimal, as the quality of our potatoes goes like a red thread through the process.

The wish of the customer is our command. Vanka delivers custom work. Therefore our packing department is furnished to meet the demands of all our customers. Vanka has invested in 12 state-of-the-art packing machines with a capacity of 400.000 kg each day.

These machines can handle packages from 500 grams untill 25 kgs., and are able to print all relevant information, requested by the customer, on the packages. In order to prevent underweight each packing will be weighted before they will be put in the containers or crates by very skilled people. The distribution to the customer can begin now.
